Christopher loves to play with legos. He doesn't have the building of things down to a science yet, but has a ton of fun anyway. It seems as though his most favorite pieces of legos are the mini figures--a kid after my own heart!

Good Morning,such a fun page,my daughters loved lego's too I think I like the really big ones from when they were toddlers better then those tiny ones that always got suck in the vacuum lol ...the only origin that comes to mind is in the middle ages jousting matches. Knights were said to have worn the colours of the lady they were supporting, in cloth or ribbons tied to their arms.not sure if that's right, I did ask my fiance....you couldn't of just asked the meaning LOL that one I know! Great layout Crystal! My boys loved their Lego's too. There are a toy that never goes out of style.
My DS did a college paper on Shakespeare and there was mention of it in one of the plays he wrote. It is something that we all relate to as "Letting our feelings show". Funny how some sayings stick around forever it seems.

You're killing me on the instructions...I could always cheat and google "wearing your heart on your sleeve" but I hate to do that and cheat. Still, I have no idea what one of the original meanings of that phrase is! Haha!

One origin was from the old jousting tournaments when knights would wear the colors they won of their lady on their arm.

As far as the quote goes....
In the Middle Ages knights who fought at tournaments wore a token of their lady on their sleeves. Today if you make your feelings obvious to everybody you wear your heart on your sleeve.
