Drumroll please! I am pleased and proud to announce that I have been offered and have accepted a position on the Design Team for Sketch N Scrap. I received the offer just prior to Thanksgiving. It is so very exciting. I am looking forward to working with this talented team of women. Check out the blog (mine as well). Each month there is a sketch released on the 1st and 15th. Participants have until the last day of the month to submit layouts and have the opportunity to win a great prize from a variety of fabulous sponsors.
More news: We spent three days trekking around New York City. This was Christopher's first visit to the city. He was able to experience the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, FAO Schwartz, Toys R Us in Times Square, and just the beauty of all of the decorations of the holiday season. He was also invited to perform with the Breeze Team street performers in Times Square--what a hoot! Watch for digi layouts here on my blog as I work on creating a photo book of the trip.
On to less good news... Christopher's vision screening at school indicates that he may need glasses. He has been asking for glasses for awhile --saying that they were cool. He doesn't seem to have any issues reading and seeing so I'm really wondering if he blew his screening on purpose. Guess we'll find out with his appointment later this week.

Congratulations and welcome to the SnS team! Look forward to your creations. :) Sounds like an exciting trip to NYC! I would love to visit someday. Maybe his vision is fine? Will cross my fingers for you but if it isn't at least he likes the glasses! ;)
