Girly papers

I rarely use "girly papers"--could be because I have a boy LOL! When Scrapbook Steals offered BoBunny's Pedal Pusher line a few months back I just couldn't resist it. I loved the doodled feel of it and it offered enough versatility that I thought I'd get it used up. My most recent use of the line though, was in fact, a girl page. I used the Sketch-n-scrap sketch that was part of their sponsorship of Personal Scrapper's celebration of their 100th kit.
Here's the sketch:

My take on it came out like this:

In addition to the BoBunny line, I added in some Doodlebug letter tiles, bits and pieces from my stash, Ranger enamel accent, and lots of pen work to make things pop. I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Once again I found myself scrapping another repeating event. This one was a friend's birthday party. I dug through the photos and came up with the pinata story to give this page a different spin.

Ohhhh how creative is that to cut-out the pinata and "pop" it with the black background! I love all the pen work too and am a big fan of Bo Bunny! Fantastic layout!!! :)
